Each one of us was created for a divine purpose. Everyone has a special gift that is for them and for them only. It is something that is for you and only you.
How many people truly believe that? It is safe to say that NOT everyone does believe that. If that were the case, there would not be a high population of what many of us categorize as “Haters”. ;-)
Those who fall in this category frown upon others who they feel have “Made It”. They look at other’s accomplishments, success, their Victory and what looks good on the outside. They may see the big house, the fancy car, successful business, happy family, nice vacations and they feel some type of way about it. These folks will criticize, make negative remarks, and judge saying, “Oh so and so, thinks they are all that, they are full of themselves, etc” You get the point. How do you know what that person thinks? Everyone has a story! Do you know what it took for that person to get to where they are and to be able to have the things they have? Do you know the details of their struggle? Were you there to comfort them when they needed comforting? Were you their source of encouragement, when they felt they could not take another step? Maybe you were there to dry their tears? Perhaps even there when they experienced heartache when they had to make the tough decision to put certain things or people out of their life or break some bad habits? You see the accomplishments or their victory, but do you really know the “behind-the-scenes”? You may think you know but I am confident when I say, you really have no idea.
Envy is discontent and ill will over another’s advantages and those with these feelings have a desire to be in that person’s shoes so they can experience those advantages for themselves. Well, what I have to say about that is, be careful what you ask for. In wanting to have what another has, comes both good and bad.
With success comes much struggle!!!! In order to be victorious, you MUST go through the process. There are NO shortcuts!!!!
It is imperative to STOP blaming other people for what is going on with you. When you blame or try to be the next person you are looking to just exist, generally. On the other hand, when you are yourself, there is no competition, there is no blaming, and because you are the only you there is and you are the best at being you. Do the best you can at what you do and learn to work with other people. Your calling, your purpose is just for you and you are the best qualified for your specific calling. It is up to you to decide whether or not you will be patient and wait for your call. Through your patience you are growing as a person while God prepares the road to victory for you. During the process to victory, God is reshaping you, using you to bless others, building your own character and learning to stand, in turn showing others to do the same. Be patient and stay faithful, so when God tells you to move, you are ready to do just that. Envy and intimidation is not necessary because when you are called it is only for you to answer. You will be called by name and there will not be any other contestants in sight. You will be the only personality for the role because it would have been written entirely just for you.
Given the fact that each one has their custom purpose, it is more than OK to work with others. Be aware and realize there are other people around you. This is not about just you. As a matter of fact it is ideal to become unified to work together and be able to proudly say I am my brother’s keeper! God has called us to do so. You cannot do everything yourself. You need encouragement, guidance, discipline, prayer and direction. These are all things that one person cannot do alone. Besides, with a group of people that owns their special gifts, would complement each other and make tremendous strides as opposed to one person doing it all!!!
We were created to glorify God and to do his will. Be encouraged, stay prayerful, be obedient, and give Him reverence. Your season is close and victory is closer than you think!!!
